Marina Pezzella, RD, LDN
Outpatient Dietitian
(She/Her/Hers)
How would you describe your approach to nutrition counseling?
My approach to nutrition counseling comes from a place of inclusion and understanding. I pride myself on being a very empathetic dietitian and strive for my clients to feel heard, understood, and validated during all sessions.
Which avenues of dietetics do you feel most passionate about pursuing?
There are so many different avenues of dietetics that I would like to pursue, but I feel personally drawn the most to eating disorders/disordered eating as well as pediatrics. I feel the most passionate when I am practicing in these spaces!
If you were to have any other profession other than Registered Dietitian, what would it be and why?
If I wasn’t a dietitian, I would definitely be a pastry chef! Ever since I was young, I have loved baking and creating recipes for desserts. I bake as a hobby now, and I love it just as much still!
Where can we find you when you’re not in client sessions?
I love exercising as a way to help my mental health, so I’m often at the gym. I also have taken up a few hobbies like tennis, painting, and photography! I love going to parks and gardens with my camera and enjoying nature.
